Hit-and-run Driver Strikes and Injures Pedestrian in Koreatown Neighborhood of Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, CA (March 26, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and injured by a hit-and-run driver early in the morning on Monday in Los Angeles’ Koreatown neighborhood. The March 25 accident occurred on Eighth Street close to Catalina Street.
The time was roughly 12:30 a.m., according to Los Angeles Police.
Reports say a vehicle—which was described as a sedan, white in color, and possibly a Mazda—was traveling west on Eighth Street and hit the pedestrian. According to police, the pedestrian was not walking within a crosswalk when the accident happened.
Respondents arrived and transported the victim to a hospital. The victim was reported to have suffered an injury to his head. The identity of the victim, including his name, age, and city of residence has not been reported. His current condition is not known.
