Motorcycle and Vehicle Involved in Fatal Collision on Highway 150 near Carpinteria

CARPINTERIA, CA (March 15, 2019) – A collision involving a motorcycle and a vehicle early Friday morning on Highway 150 near Carpinteria killed one person. The March 15 crash occurred in the southern part of Santa Barbara County.

The time was a bit after 6:00 a.m.

Reports say the collision site was located close to Rincon Beach Park, a bit off of the 101 Highway. The accident happened in the area of Carpinteria. The two vehicles involved, according to reports, were a motorcycle and a vehicle. It is not known what type of vehicle.

Reports do not say who the person was who was killed in the incident, including the person’s name, age, gender, and city of residence. It is not known from reports which vehicle the person had been traveling in or on.

Reports do not say who the driver was and who the rider was, and if anyone else had been traveling as a passenger in either the vehicle or the motorcycle.
