OILDALE, CA (February 14, 2019) – Lori Sue Soto and Joshua James Andrews were identified by the coroner’s office as the two victims who were killed in a crash in Oildale on Monday. The February 11 accident occurred on China Grade Loop.
Reports say that Soto and Andrews had been heading east in a vehicle—described as a Dodge Challenger—and at Manor Street, the Dodge Challenger ran through a red light. The Dodge Challenger was struck by Dodge Ram pickup.
The force of the impact split the Dodge Challenger in half. The California Highway Patrol says the vehicle then hit a raised median and some street signs.

The driver of the Dodge Ram pickup suffered injuries that were described as moderate to major. The identity of the driver of the Dodge Ram pickup has not yet been reported, including the person’s name, age, gender, and city of residence.
