Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Freight Train in Santa Ana
SANTA ANA, CA (September 6, 2018) – A pedestrian was hit by a freight train in Santa Ana on Monday and died at the scene.
Sergeant F. Gutierrez with the Santa Ana Police Department said the accident occurred around 11:53 p.m. The site of the accident was at Lincoln Avenue and 17th Street.
The person who died appeared to be a man. No other details were available regarding the identity of the victim, or what caused the fatal accident to occur.
