Tulare, CA – Two-car Crash Kills Brittany Briscoe; Injures Alberto Cisneros Jr.

TULARE, CA (August 7, 2018) – Brittanny Briscoe died, and Alberto Cisneros, Jr. was injured in a crash involving two vehicles in Tulare Saturday morning.
The accident happened on a road that reports described as unsafe, where Avenue 192 and Spacer Drive intersect. The time was roughly 5:00 a.m.
Brittany Briscoe, described as a 21 year old, had been heading north in her Chevrolet Malibu. For reasons that are not known, she swerved over the double yellow lines. Her car struck a Chevrolet Silverado that had been traveling south.
According to Dave Salazar, who is a patrol officer with the California Highway Patrol, the young woman lost control of her vehicle and hit the truck head on. Briscoe died on impact.
The crash caused major damage to both of the vehicles. The report says it is not yet known how fast each vehicle was going.
The other victim in the crash was the driver of the pickup truck. He was identified as Alberto Cisneros, Jr., a 27-year-old from Tulare. The injuries he suffered were described as major. Responders took Cisneros, who was in critical condition, to Kaweah Delta Medical Center.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact the authorities.
