COSTA MESA, CA (July 14, 2018) – Four vehicles collided in Costa Mesa on Saturday afternoon on the 405 Freeway. The accident happened where the 405 Freeway and the 55 Freeway intersect, at roughly 4:52 p.m.
The crash injured one person.
Involved in the crash, the California Highway Patrol says, was a white Ford Mustang. Three other vehicles were involved, but descriptions for those vehicles have not yet been reported.
The collision of the four vehicles blocked the transition road in the first lane. At this time, details have not been reported on how the crash happened or what caused it.
One person involved in the crash suffered an injury to an arm. Also chest pains were noted.
Damages to the vehicles do not yet appear in the report. However, tow trucks removed all of the vehicles involved in the crash.
Investigators are looking into the details to determine what caused the crash.
