PERRIS, CA (July 10, 2018) – A crash on the 215 Freeway in Perris on Tuesday morning killed one person, according to California Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred a bit south of Highway 74 in the southbound lanes of the 215 Freeway at about 2:36 a.m.
According to reports, one person died at the scene of the accident. Two vehicles were located at the accident scene, but authorities do not know if these vehicles were involved in the incident. Debris from the wreckage was lying on the road.
Reports do not yet show what caused the crash, or the identities of the people involved.
The identity of the person who died has not yet been released.
Investigators are looking into the details of the crash to determine the cause.
