NATIONAL CITY, CA (July 27, 2020) – Early in the morning on Friday, a driver suspected of hit-and-run struck two cars, then smashed into a fence at a church in National City. The July 23 incidents occurred on Palm Avenue.

The time was roughly 12:15 a.m., National City Police said.

Report say a vehicle–described as a BMW–struck the back end of a Camaro in the area where Palm Avenue and Division Street intersect. According to reports, the person driving the BMW attempted to flee at a fast speed.
