Orange Driver Smashes into 8 Parked Vehicles on Lincoln Ave.

ORANGE, CA (June 7, 2022) – Early in the morning on Saturday in Orange, a driver smashed into eight vehicles that were parked on the street. The June 4 crash occurred on East Lincoln Avenue in the 1400 block.

The time was roughly 12:30 a.m., according to Sergeant McMullin who is with the Orange Police Department.

Reports say that a vehicle–described as a Toyota Prius–was traveling on East Lincoln Avenue, and at a curve in the road, the vehicle went out of the driver’s control.

The Prius smashed into eight vehicles that were parked along the street.

Responders arrived and worked to free the driver. They transported him to the hospital.

He suffered injuries that were described as minor. Authorities later arrested him on suspicion of DUI.

He was identified only as a resident of San Bernardino, 32 years old. His name has not been reported.

A person was inside one of the parked vehicles when the crash happened. According to reports, the person was not hurt in the crash.

The person’s identity has not been reported.

Investigators are continuing to work on the crash details. If anyone has information about the incident, calls can be made to Orange Police.
