Solano County Wrong-way Crash on I-80 Kills Three, Injures Two
SOLANO COUNTY, CA (September 26, 2022) – On Sunday morning in Solano County, a head-on crash killed three people and injured two others. The September 25 crash occurred on I-80, near Richard Boulevard and to the west of it.
A vehicle–described as an Infiniti sedan–was heading in the wrong direction, authorities allege, going east in the lanes that are westbound.
The Infiniti crashed head on into another vehicle, described as Hyundai sedan.
Responders found three people were killed in the crash.
The people who died included the Hyundai’s driver, and the Infiniti’s driver and a passenger in the Infiniti.
Responders transported two passengers who had been traveling in the Infiniti to UC Davis Medical Center.
The two patients suffered injuries that were described as major. Their current conditions are not known.
No one involved in the crash has been identified, including name, age, gender, and city of residence.
