Crash on West Mulholland Drive Kills Two In Woodland Hills, CA
WOODLAND HILLS, CA (November 2, 2022) – On Tuesday night in Woodland Hills, a fiery crash involving two vehicles killed two people. The November 1 crash occurred on West Mulholland Drive in the 23100 block, close to where Valmar Road is located.
The time was roughly 9:00 p.m., the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
A vehicle–described as a Toyota Camry–was heading east on Mulholland Drive, and it struck the back end of a Ford Mustang, reports say.
The two vehicles erupted in flames from the force of the crash, according to Matthew Bielski, who is a lieutenant with Los Angeles Police.
Responders worked to put the fire out. Two people who had been traveling in the Mustang died at the crash site.
The identities of the two victims–including their names, ages, genders, and cities of residence–have not been reported.
The Toyota’s driver exited the vehicle on his own. Responders transported him to a hospital.
He was identified only as in his twenties. His name and city of residence have not been reported.
Investigators suspect speed may have contributed to the crash, reports say; they are continuing to collect details and information.
