Pedestrian Killed on Roscoe Blvd. in Winnetka by Hit-and-run Driver
WINNETKA, CA (December 17, 2020) – Early in the morning on Wednesday in Winnetka, a hit-and-run driver struck and killed a pedestrian. The December 16 incident occurred on Roscoe Boulevard, near Lurline Avenue and to the east of it.
The time was roughly 5:00 a.m., according to Los Angeles Police.
Responders arrived and found the victim down on the roadway on Roscoe Boulevard’s north curb area, according to the Valley Traffic Division of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Responders pronounced the victim deceased at the crash site. She was identified only as a resident of Canoga Park, 46 years old. Her name has not been reported.
Investigators are searching for the vehicle involved–described as light in color, perhaps silver or tan, and may be a Chevrolet Tahoe. They are also searching for the suspect driver, who has not been described.
