Four Injured in High-Speed Crash Near Mar Vista Street
WHITTIER, CA (February 11, 2025) – Four people were injured in a high-speed collision on Colima Road Tuesday morning, February 11, after a vehicle veered into oncoming traffic, according to the Whittier Police Department.
The crash occurred around 10:00 a.m. near the intersection with Mar Vista Street. Authorities say a white Infiniti sedan was traveling at a high speed northbound on Colima Road when it crossed the center median into southbound lanes. The Infiniti then collided with three vehicles, causing one to overturn onto its side.
Driver of Infiniti Suffered Major Head Trauma Due To Not Wearing A Seat Belt
The driver of the Infiniti, who was not wearing a seat belt, sustained a head injury and was airlifted to a hospital for treatment. The three other drivers involved suffered minor injuries and were transported to hospitals for evaluation.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
