Two Women Killed in 3-vehicle Collision at Roosevelt Avenue and Beach Boulevard in Westminster
WESTMINSTER, CA (November 22, 2019) – Late in the afternoon on Thursday in Westminster, two women were killed in a collision involving three vehicles. The November 21 incident occurred where Roosevelt Avenue and Beach Boulevard intersect.
The time was roughly 4:00 p.m., according to the Westminster Police Department.
Reports say a vehicle—described as an SUV—had been traveling north on Beach Boulevard. For reasons that are not known, the SUV went into the lanes of opposing traffic and struck another vehicle, described as a sedan.
The force of the collision sent the sedan to smash into a fence made of iron. Two people who had been in the sedan died. They were identified only as women. Their names, ages, and cities of residence have not been reported.
Another vehicle that approached the incident site was not able to miss hitting the SUV. Responders transported the driver of the third vehicle and the driver of the SUV to a hospital.
