2 Drivers Injured After Waymo Self-Driving Car Crashes on 10 Fwy
Los Angeles, CA — A collision involving a self-driving car on the 10 Freeway near Bundy Drive resulted in moderate injuries for two individuals, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The incident occurred on the 10 East Freeway when a Waymo vehicle, operating in autonomous mode, collided with another car. The exact circumstances of the crash remain unclear, but preliminary investigations suggest that speed may have been a contributing factor.
Waymo Vehicle Operator Transported To Nearby Hospital After Crash
Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene, transporting both the Waymo vehicle’s driver and the driver of the other car to a nearby hospital for treatment of mild to moderate injuries.
