Six-vehicle Crash on State Route 78 in Vista Causes Injuries
VISTA, CA (December 11, 2019) – Early in the morning on Tuesday, a crash involving multiple vehicles caused injures in Vista. The December 10 incident occurred on State Route 78, close to Vista Village Drive, in the lanes that head east.
The time was roughly a little before 5:00 a.m., the California Highway Patrol said.
According to the California Highway Patrol, at least six vehicles collided, but it is not known how the collision occurred, and what sequence of events unfolded. None of the vehicles have been described.
None of the drivers involved in the incident have been identified, including name, age, gender, and city of residence. It is not known if any of the vehicles that collided were carrying passengers.
According to reports, one person suffered serious injuries. The person has not been identified, and the victim’s current condition is not known.
Reports do not say if anyone else was hurt in the crash.
Investigators are continuing their efforts to understand the circumstances surrounding the incident.
