Construction Workers Struck in Victorville on Hesperia Road; 1 Dies, 3 Injured
VICTORVILLE, CA (March 26, 2021) – On Thursday noon in Victorville, a vehicle crashed into construction workers, killing one person and injuring three. The March 25 incident occurred on Hesperia Road, near Green Tree Boulevard and to the south of it.
The time was roughly 12:00 p.m., the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said.
No details have been reported on how the crash occurred. A vehicle–described as a Chevrolet Suburban–struck four people who were working in the area.
Responders arrived to help. One person died at the crash site. The identity of the victim, including name, age, gender, and city of residence, has not been reported.
Responders took three patients to a hospital in the area. The types of injuries the people suffered, and their current condition, are not known.
The identities of the people have not been reported.
The person who had been driving the vehicle remained at the crash site and cooperated with investigators. The driver’s identity has not been reported.
