Male Pedestrian Killed in Collision On Chestnut Avenue
FRESNO, CA (April 21, 2025) — Victor Thomas Jr, a Fresno man was fatally injured in a pedestrian collision early Monday morning in southeast Fresno, authorities confirmed.
The incident occurred around 5:30 a.m. on Chestnut Avenue, just south of Olive Avenue. According to the Fresno Police Department, the victim—identified as 42-year-old Victor Thomas Jr.—was struck by a vehicle under circumstances that remain unclear.
Victor Thomas Jr. Was Transported To The Hospital Where He Died During Surgery
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and transported Thomas to Community Regional Medical Center, where he underwent surgery. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
The Fresno County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office later confirmed the identity of the victim as Victor Thomas Jr.
