Seal Beach, CA (March 4, 2024) – Tragedy struck early Monday morning at the intersection of Seal Beach Boulevard and North Gate Road, where a passenger lost their life in a DUI-related crash.
Passenger Killed, Victor Carranza Arrested in DUI Crash on Seal Beach Boulevard
The fatal incident occurred around 2:00 a.m. on March 4. Seal Beach Police Department reports indicate that 39-year-old Victor Carranza, a resident of Los Angeles, was behind the wheel at the time of the crash.
The impact of the collision was so severe that it ejected a female passenger from the vehicle, leading to her death at the scene. Victor Carranza himself sustained injuries and was transported to a hospital for medical treatment.
Victor Carranza Booked Into Orange County Jail For Felony DUI
Subsequent investigations resulted in the arrest of Victor Carranza on suspicion of felony DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated. He was booked into Orange County Jail.
