Vehicle Hits Bakersfield Woman Lying on Brundage Lane
BAKERSFIELD, CA (September 23, 2021) – Early in the evening on Sunday in Bakersfield, a vehicle hit a woman who was lying in the road. The September 19 crash occurred on Brundage Lane in the 3000 block.
The time was roughly 7:43 p.m., Bakersfield Police said.
A vehicle–which has not been described–had been traveling on Brundage Lane when it struck the person. The driver remained at the crash site.
Responders arrived and transported the woman to a hospital in the area. The types of injuries she suffered, and her current condition, are not known. Her identity has not been reported.
The person who had been driving the vehicle cooperated with the investigation. The person’s identity has not been reported.
Investigators are working to understand why the woman was lying on the ground before the crash happened. They are collecting information and details.
