Vehicle Injures Pedestrian Near Magic Mountain Parkway and McBean Parkway in Valencia
VALENCIA, CA (January 31, 2020) – Late in the morning on Thursday, a vehicle struck and injured a pedestrian in Valencia. The January 30 incident occurred where McBean Parkway and Magic Mountain Parkway intersect.
The time was roughly 10:40 a.m., according to Leslie Lua. Lua is a supervisor with Los Angeles County Fire.
Reports say a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, but it is not clear where the person had been walking when struck. The vehicle has not been described.
Responders arrived and, according to Lua, no one was taken to a hospital. The identity of the victim, including name, age, gender, and city of residence, has not been reported.
The identity of the driver has also not been reported.
Investigators are working to understand the crash’s circumstances, and they are collecting details and information.
News reports say that since December 1, a crash involving a pedestrian and a vehicle has been a weekly occurrence.
