Rollover Crash Kills 1 and Injures 3 Others in South LA
Los Angeles, CA (April 23, 2024) – Tyrone Lindqvist tragically lost his life in a rollover accident in South Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon, April 23.
The fatal incident occurred around 1:35 p.m. at the intersection of West Vernon Avenue and Walton Avenue. According to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), a 2014 Honda Accord and a 2016 Nissan Versa were traveling eastbound on West Vernon Avenue at high speeds. The Nissan Versa, driven by Tyrone Lindqvist, lost control, crashing into a telephone pole, while the Honda Accord collided with multiple vehicles.
Tyrone Lindqvist of Garden Grove Was Pronounced Dead At The Scene
Upon their arrival, officers discovered an overturned vehicle with Tyrone Lindqvist inside.
Tyrone Lindqvist, a 44-year-old resident of Garden Grove, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
The 21-year-old female driver of the Accord and two other occupants were transported to a hospital in stable condition.

An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
