Two Los Angeles Teens Critically Injured when Car Hits 5 Pedestrians in the Hollywood Hills
HOLLYWOOD, CA (August 16, 2021) – On Sunday night in the Hollywood Hills, a car struck five pedestrians. Two teens were critically injured in the August 15 crash, which occurred on West Mulholland Drive in the 7000 block.
The time was roughly 9:00 p.m., the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
No details have been reported on the line of travel of the vehicle prior to striking the victims.
Responders arrived and took two patients to a hospital. Their condition was described as critical.
They were identified only as a girl, 16 years old; and a man, 19 years old. Their names and cities of residence have not been reported.
The three other people who had been walking suffered injuries that were described as minor. Their identities, including names, ages, genders, and cities of residence, have not been reported.
The person who had been driving the vehicle has also not been identified. The vehicle has not been described.
Investigators are continuing their work on the crash.
