Two Men Killed in Tustin-Irvine Motorcycle Crash
TUSTIN, CA (October 12, 2020) – Early in the morning on Sunday near the border area of Irvine and Tustin, two men who had been on motorcycles were killed in a crash. The October 11 incident occurred on Jamboree Road close to Barranca Parkway.
The time was roughly 3:13 a.m., according to Stephanie Nichols. Nichols is a lieutenant with Tustin Police.
Responders arrived on scene and discovered one of the victims had died at the incident site. He was later identified as Quintin Lilienthal, 33 years old, and a resident of Hemet.
Responders transported the other victim to Orange County Global Medical Center. He died in the hospital.
He was identified as Daniel Lilienthal, 29 years old, and a resident of Hemet.
Investigators are working to understand why the crash happened. According to reports, one of the motorcyclists may have crashed into the other one. One of the motorcycles was reported to have begun burning.
