Man Fatally Struck by Car On Carson Street and Western Ave.
Torrance, CA (April 17th, 2023) – A man was hit and killed by a car near the intersection of Carson Street and Western Avenue in Torrance. The fatal accident occurred around 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, according to a statement from the Torrance Police Department.

The incident involved a driver striking a man for unknown reasons. Paramedics were quickly dispatched to the scene and transported the victim to a nearby hospital. Sadly, he later succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
The driver of the vehicle involved in the accident remained at the scene and cooperated with police investigators. The driver was found to be unimpaired, according to initial investigations.
The man’s identity has not been released by authorities at this time. It is also unclear what caused the accident. However, an investigation is currently underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
