Two Men Killed in Horrific Crash In Sun Valley
LOS ANGELES, CA (June 7, 2025) — Two men were killed and two others injured in a violent two-vehicle collision Saturday afternoon in the Sun Valley neighborhood of Los Angeles.
The crash occurred around 3:33 p.m. on June 7 in the 8000 block of North Laurel Canyon Boulevard near Strathern Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The 2 Men Killed Were Identified As Andrew Silva, 20, and Anthony Angulo, 24
Authorities identified the deceased as Andrew Silva, 20, and Anthony Angulo, 24. Both men were trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated by firefighters using hydraulic rescue tools.
Silva suffered major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, while Angulo was critically injured and later died at a hospital, the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division reported.
2 Other People Were Injured In The Collision
A 45-year-old man and another individual sustained minor injuries in the crash but declined transport to a hospital.
The cause of the collision is under investigation. Police have not released further details about the circumstances leading up to the crash.
