Man Charged After Double Hit-and-Run Accidents
SAN DIEGO, CA (August 17, 2024) — Steven Ross, 29, is facing charges following a hit-and-run pedestrian accident early Saturday morning at the intersection of Seventh Avenue and Cedar Street, according to San Diego Police.
The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. when Steven Ross, driving a silver Mercedes sedan northbound, lost control of his vehicle. He first collided with a parked car in the 1400 block of 5th Avenue. After fleeing that scene, Ross struck a male pedestrian at Seventh Avenue and Cedar Street, leaving the man with a severe open fracture to his left leg.

Steven Ross did not stop to assist the injured pedestrian and continued to flee. Authorities later located Ross’s vehicle parked in the 1600 block of 8th Avenue, leading to his arrest.
