Cars in Spring Valley Damaged When Storm Knocks Tree Down
SPRING VALLEY, CA (January 26, 2021) – Early in the morning on Monday in Spring Valley, a number of cars were damaged when a tree fell on them during a storm. The January 25 incident occurred on Helix Street in the 1800 block.
The time was roughly 2:30 a.m., according to reports.
A person who witnessed the incident described a loud bang. He peered out of his window, and saw a tree begin to fall slowly, as though it had been torn from its base, he is reported to have said.
The tree came down on a number of vehicles in the driveway of his neighbor.
No one was reported to have been hurt in the incident.
The owners of the vehicles have not been identified, nor has the witness.
Responders from San Diego Gas and Electric, and also the fire department, responded to the site of the incident.
Investigators are in the process of working on the incident details.
