Crash Near Santa Maria River Bridge on Highway 101 Causes Injuries
SANTA MARIA, CA (June 4, 2020) – Early in the morning on Thursday, multiple vehicles collided near the Santa Maria River Bridge on Highway 101. The June 4 incident occurred on the northbound side of the road.
The time was a little before 6:00 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Reports say three vehicles collided, but the vehicles have not been described. The manner in which the collision occurred has also not been described.
Responders arrived and found victims suffered injuries that were described as minor. The number of people who were injured has not been reported, nor the types of injuries they suffered.
The identities of the victims have also not been reported, including names, ages, gender, and cities of residence. The driver of each vehicle that crashed has not been identified. It is not known which vehicle each victim had been traveling in.
Investigators are working to understand the sequence of events related to the crash. At this time, no other details have been reported.
