Head-on Crash on Highway 154 Causes Major Injuries in Santa Barbara County
SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, CA (March 10, 2022) – On Monday afternoon in Santa Barbara County, a head-on crash on Highway 154 caused major injuries. The March 7 crash occurred near Lake Cachuma, on the westbound side of the roadway.
The vehicles involved in the crash have not been described, and the manner in which the crash happened is not clear from reports.
Responders arrived on scene and transported one patient by airlift for medical treatment.
Responders also transported two patients by ambulance to the hospital.
Two of the patients suffered injuries that were described as major. Their current conditions are not known.
They have not been identified in reports.
One person suffered injuries that were described as minor. The person has also not been identified.
Investigators are in the process of collecting information to understand the cause of the crash.
