Three Vehicles Collide in the Cuesta Grade of Highway 101 in Santa Barbara
SANTA BARBARA, CA (June 25, 2019) – On Monday morning, three vehicles collided in the Cuesta Grade of Highway 101 in Santa Barbara. The June 24 incident occurred on the southbound side of the highway, close to the railroad bridge and to the south of it.
The time was roughly 7:25 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Reports say three vehicles collided, but none of the vehicles involved have been described. It is not known from reports what caused the crash, or what the sequence was in which the vehicles collided. Reports say the collision blocked the highway’s fast lane.
It is not known if anyone was hurt in the incident. The driver of each vehicle has not been identified, including the person’s name, age, gender, and city of residence. It is not known if anyone else had been traveling as a passenger in any of the vehicles involved in the crash.
