Semi-truck Kills Pedestrian in Santa Barbara on Highway 101 Near Garden Street
SANTA BARBARA, CA (December 13, 2019) – Early in the morning on Friday, a semi-truck hit and killed a pedestrian in Santa Barbara. The December 13 incident occurred in the southbound lanes of Highway 101, close to the offramp for Garden Street.
The time was a little before 1:30 a.m., the California Highway Patrol said.
Reports say a pedestrian was struck, but it is not clear exactly where the person had been walking when the incident occurred.
