Pedestrian on I-5 Freeway in Santa Ana Hit and Killed
SANTA ANA, CA (September 14, 2018) – A pedestrian was hit and killed on the I-5 Freeway in Santa Thursday night. The September 13 accident occurred in the lanes of the freeway that travel south.
The time was roughly 8:35 p.m.
According to reports, one vehicle, and possibly others, hit the victim. California Highway Patrol said that a first report came in at roughly 8:35 p.m., by a person who was driving on the southbound side of the freeway, a bit north of the 55 Freeway.
It was not clear if other vehicles also hit the pedestrian. No other details were yet reported on the victim’s identity.
Investigators are looking into the details of the accident.
