Multiple Vehicles Hit Man on First Street in Santa Ana
SANTA ANA, CA (June 16, 2020) – Early in the morning on Monday in Santa Ana, a man was struck and seriously injured after multiple vehicles hit him. The June 15 incident occurred on First Street on the westbound side of the road, close to the Flower Street intersection.
The time was roughly a little before 1:30 a.m., Andrew Alvarez said. Alvarez is a lieutenant with Santa Ana Police.
Reports say multiple vehicles struck the man, but it is not clear from reports where the man had been when he was hit. None of the vehicles have been described, and it is also not clear from reports if the drivers of the vehicles involved stayed at the incident site or left the scene.
Responders from Orange County Fire Authority transported the victim to the hospital. The injuries he suffered were described as serious. His current condition is not known. The man’s identity, including name, age, and city of residence, has not been reported.
Investigators are searching for the vehicles involved in the incident and the drivers. They are collecting details and information, and looking for surveillance footage.
