Car Hits and Kills Pedestrian on West 1st Street in Santa Ana
SANTA ANA, CA (December 15, 2020) – Early in the evening on Sunday, a pedestrian was struck and killed in Santa Ana. The December 13 incident occurred at 1200 West 1st Street.
The time was roughly 7:15 p.m., Santa Ana Police said.
The pedestrian had been going across the road and a vehicle–which has not been described–that had been traveling westbound, hit him.
Responders from Santa Ana Police and Orange County Fire Authority arrived on scene. The victim was pronounced deceased at the crash site. His name, age, and city of residence have not been reported.
The person who had been driving the vehicle stayed at the crash site and cooperated with investigators. The identity of the driver has not been reported.
