Woman Believed Murdered in Anaheim Found in Crashed Vehicle in San Marcos
SAN MARCOS, CA (August 3, 2020) – The body of Jessie Villesca, who authorities suspect was killed on Friday in Anaheim, was found inside a crashed vehicle in San Marcos. The crash occurred close to where Rancho Santa Fe and San Marcos Boulevard intersect.
The time of the crash was roughly 4:00 p.m., according to police.
Reports say a vehicle–described as a Toyota Tundra pickup truck–collided with another vehicle, which has not been described. Responders arrived and transported a victim to the hospital, according to Shane Carringer. Carringer is a sergeant with Anaheim Police.
The person who was injured has not been identified. It is not known which vehicle the person had been traveling in. The driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash has not been identified.
According to reports, deputies in San Diego County, where the crash occurred, found a body inside the vehicle, which was later identified as Villesca. Reports say investigators think that Villesca died prior to the crash, and her body had injuries that occurred before the collision.
Reports say authorities think she was a victim of homicide, which happened near North Mueller Street and West Corporate Way in Anaheim, earlier on Friday.
Villesca was a resident of Anaheim, 56 years old.
The driver of the pickup truck was identified as Abdulaziz Munther Alubidy, a resident of Anaheim, 30 years old. Alubidy was arrested on suspicion of murder, according to reports.
