Two People Seriously Injured in Three-vehicle San Jacinto Crash Involving Lamborghini
SAN JACINO, CA (May 21, 2019) – Three vehicles collided Monday night in San Jacinto, seriously injuring two people. The May 20 incident occurred on Ramona Expressway close to North Vernon Avenue, in an area near Soboba Springs Country Club and to the west of it.
The time was roughly 8:30 p.m.
According to the California Highway Patrol, one of the vehicles involved was a Lamborghini Huracan. The other two vehicles involved in the crash have not been described.
Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department said two people suffered injuries that were critical. One victim had been trapped inside the wreckage of his vehicle. A third victim suffered injuries that were described as minor. Respondents transported all of the victims to hospitals.
No one involved in the crash has been identified, including name, age, gender, and city of residence. It is not known who had been driving each vehicle, and who had been a passenger. Reports do not say what vehicle the victims were traveling in who had suffered critical injuries.
It is not clear from reports where the vehicles were when the crash occurred, whether they had been traveling in the same direction, in opposing directions, or executing turns. Investigators are working on clarifying the information so that they understand the sequence and circumstances that led to the accident.
