Pedestrian Killed on 805 Fwy Near San Ysidro Boulevard
SAN DIEGO, CA (February 10, 2025) – A pedestrian was struck and killed early Monday morning on the 805 Freeway near the San Ysidro Boulevard exit, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The fatal accident occurred around 6:00 a.m. when, for unknown reasons, a pedestrian entered the freeway lanes. Authorities reported that the driver of a Honda Accord had minimal time to react before hitting the individual near the US-Mexico border.
Police Have Not Released The Identity of The Deceased Pedestrian At This Time
The pedestrian died at the scene, but officials have not yet released their identity.
Authorities have not provided details regarding the driver or the circumstances leading up to the crash. The CHP is asking anyone with information about the incident to come forward as the investigation continues.
