San Diego, CA (March 6, 2024) – Tragedy struck on Wednesday afternoon as a pedestrian was struck and killed by a car on the 15 Freeway near the Tierrasanta neighborhood.
Pedestrian Crash on 15 Freeway in Tierrasanta Neighborhood Turns Fatal
The fatal crash occurred just after 1:45 p.m. on March 6, near Aero Drive. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the pedestrian was walking in the second lane of the freeway when they were struck by an unknown vehicle.
The impact of the collision resulted in fatal injuries, and the pedestrian tragically died at the scene. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the victim, pending notification of their next of kin.
