Off-road Vehicle and Motorcycle Collide in North San Diego County Near Ramona, Killing Two
SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA (November 2, 2020) – A crash involving a motorcycle and an off-road vehicle killed two people Sunday in the northern part of San Diego County. The November 1 incident occurred near Ramona and to the east of it, on Littlepage Lane.
The time was roughly 2:09 p.m., Thomas Shoots said. Shoots is with Cal Fire San Diego.
Reports say a motorcycle–which has not been described–collided with a side-by-side, utility task off-road vehicle. No details have been reported on how the collision occurred, nor the line of travel each vehicle had been taking prior to the crash.
Responders arrived and pronounced two people who had been traveling on the motorcycle deceased at the incident site. The identities of the two people–including their names, ages, gender, and cities of residence–have not been reported.
Four people who had been traveling on the off-road vehicle were not hurt in the crash, according to Shoots. The identities of the four people have not been reported.
Investigators are working to understand why the crash happened; they are continuing to gather information and details.
