Woman Injured After Striking Parked Vehicles in Sherman Heights Area of San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (June 18, 2019) – A woman was injured on Sunday night after striking parked cars in San Diego’s Sherman Heights neighborhood. The June 16 incident occurred on Market Street in the 2400 block.
The time was roughly 10:15 p.m., the San Diego Police Department said.
Reports say people saw a driver, who was described as female, attempting to exit her vehicle from a window. Some people are reported to have heard the driver say repeatedly that she was sorry.
Respondents arrived and took the woman to a hospital. The injuries she suffered have not been reported, nor her current condition. Her identity, including name, age, and city of residence, has not been reported.
Reports say that investigators are trying to find out if the woman had been involved in another crash, which occurred fifteen minutes prior, in the vicinity of Pershing Drive and Florida Drive.
No details have been reported on what may have led to the crash. It is not known from reports who the owners are of the parked cars that were damaged. Reports do not say if anyone else was injured in the incident. Investigators are continuing their work on the incident.
