Vehicle Overturns in San Diego’s Chollas View Neighborhood, Injuring One
SAN DIEGO, CA (January 2, 2020) – On Tuesday afternoon, a vehicle crashed and overturned in San Diego’s Chollas View area, injuring one person. The December 31 incident occurred on Market Street in the 4900 block.
The time was roughly 1:13 p.m., Monica Munoz said. Munoz is with San Diego Fire-Rescue.
Reports say a vehicle, which has not been described, crashed and overturned. Responders arrived and found that person was trapped in the vehicle. They worked to extricate the victim.
Responders transported the victim to Mercy Hospital. The types of injuries the person suffered, and current condition, are not known. The identity of the person, including name, age, gender, and city of residence, has not been reported.
It is not known if the victim had been the driver of the vehicle, or a passenger. It is also not known if any other vehicle had been involved in the incident.
Investigators are working on collecting details and information to understand why the vehicle landed on its side.
