SAN DIEGO, CA (August 6, 2018) – A motorcyle and a car crash on Antigua Boulevard in San Diego caused serious injuries to the rider on Wednesday.
The August 1 crash occurred at roughly 5:30 p.m., Sergeant Ed Zwibel said.
The 24-year-old who had been riding the motorcyle, described as a 2011 Yamaha, had been heading east on Antigua Boulevard. A 2012 Toyota Prius turned from Camino Playa Acapulco onto Antigua, and the motorcycle hit the Prius.
The report says that the person riding the motorcycle suffered injuries that were described as major. The driver of the Prius was also injured.
No other information is currently available about the identities of the victims, or the types and extent of their injuries.
Investigators are continuing to examine the details of the crash.
