San Diego Hit-and-run Crash on Market Street Involving Two Motorcycles Injures Rider
SAN DIEGO, CA (January 29, 2021) – On Thursday night, a hit-and-run crash in the Mt. Hope area of San Diego involving two motorcycles injured one of the riders. The January 28 incident occurred on Market Street in the 4300 block.
The time was roughly 10:00 p.m., according to Robert Heims. Heims is an officer with San Diego Police.
A motorcyclist had been traveling on a Harley Davidson and heading east on Market Street. Another motorcycle–which has not been described–veered into the Harley, reports say. Each rider lost control and crashed.
The person on the other motorcycle rode away from the crash site.
Responders arrived and transported the person who had been riding the Harley Davidson to the hospital. He suffered a broken right leg.
He was identified as 20 years old. His name and city of residence have not been reported.
Investigators are searching for the hit-and-run motorcyclist, who has not been described. They are continuing their efforts regarding the incident.
