El Cajon Boulevard Crash in San Diego Injures Motorcycle Riders
SAN DIEGO, CA (December 23, 2020) – Early in the evening on Tuesday in San Diego’s Rolando neighborhood, a crash involving a car and a motorcycle injured two riders. The December 22 incident occurred on El Cajon Boulevard in the 6400 block.
The time was roughly 6:05 p.m., Andre Thomas said. Thomas is an officer with San Diego Police.
The motorcycle–described as a Suzuki R5–had been traveling on El Cajon Boulevard and heading east. A vehicle–described as a Nissan Sentra, silver in color–attempted to execute a turn to the left onto Seminole Drive, reports say.
The motorcycle and the vehicle collided. The person driving the motorcycle suffered a broken leg. He was identified as 34 years old. His name has not been reported.
The passenger who had been on the motorcycle was hurt, but the injuries have not been reported. He was identified as 32 years old. His name has also not been reported. The city of residence of each person on the motorcycle is not known.
The person driving the vehicle was not hurt in the crash, according to Thomas. She was identified as 23 years old. Her name has not yet been reported.
Investigators are working on the crash details.
