Driver Crashes into Dentist’s Office in Normal Heights Area of San Diego; DUI Suspected
SAN DIEGO, CA (February 17, 2020) – Early in the morning on Sunday, a driver crashed into a San Diego dentist’s office, causing injuries. The February 16 incident occurred on El Cajon Boulevard in the 3800 block, in San Diego’s Normal Heights area.
The time was roughly 6:30 a.m., according to San Diego Police.
Reports say a driver crashed into the building, but the vehicle involved has not been described. Responders arrived and reports only say that the driver and another person in the vehicle did not suffer serious injuries. Their current condition is not known.
The driver was arrested, police say, on suspicion of DUI. The identity of the driver, including name, age, gender, and city of residence, has not been reported.
The identity of the passenger has also not been reported.
It is not known if anyone was inside the building when the crash happened. The identity of the owner of the building has not been reported, and the extent of damage to the building has not been described.
