Three People Identified as Victims Killed in San Bernardino Crash
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (October 28, 2019) – Monique Michelle Ortiz, Anthony Steven Fernandez, and Rico Anaya Perez, Jr. were identified by the San Bernardino County Coroner as the victims who were killed in a crash in San Bernardino on Friday. The October 25 incident occurred on West 5th Street in the 1100 block.
The time was roughly 1:30 a.m.
Reports say Perez Jr. had been the driver of the vehicle, which had been heading west on 5th Street. The vehicle hit the back end of a big rig, according to Jeff Harvey. Harvey is a sergeant with the San Bernardino Police Department.
Perez Jr. was killed in the crash. He was 24 years old and a resident of Highland.
Two passengers traveling in the vehicle were also killed at the scene of the incident. Ortiz was 23 years old and a resident of San Bernardino. Fernandez was 24 years old and a resident of San Bernardino.
