Car Crashes and Erupts in Flames on Kendall Drive in San Bernardino, Killing Two

SAN BERNARDINO, CA (October 24, 2019) – Early in the morning on Wednesday, a vehicle crash in San Bernardino killed two people. The October 23 incident occurred on Kendall Drive close to E Street.

The time was roughly 4:45 a.m., Jeff Harvey said. Harvey is a sergeant with the San Bernardino Police Department.

Reports say a vehicle—described as a Hyundai—had been traveling east on Kendall Drive. In an area where the road makes a sharp curve close to E Street, the vehicle went out of the driver’s control and smashed into a concrete pillar. The Hyundai then erupted in flames.

The driver and a passenger died at the accident site. The identities of the two people—including their names, ages, gender, and cities of residence—have not been reported.
