Woman is rescued and hospitalized from a Sacramento University parking structure accident that left her trapped in her car.
A car on the third floor of the university’s parking structure was heading to the lower level when it lost control on the ramp leading to the lower floor Tuesday at about 10 a.m. The car crashed into eight other cars in its path. The collision left one woman trapped inside her car.
Parking Structure
Sacramento Fire Department, university police and tow trucks responded to the accident. SFD rescue team freed the woman trapped inside the car. She was transported to a nearby hospital. University police closed down the parking structure as the accident was cleared. They gave the woman responsible for the accident a sobriety exam. Four cars were towed away for repairs.
The accident remains under investigation.
