Ricardo Murillo Sandoval Dies in Collision on Highway 74 in Romoland; Three Others Injured
ROMOLAND, CA (November 13, 2018) – A collision on Highway 74 in Romoland killed Ricardo Murillo Sandoval early in the morning on Monday, and injured three other people, according to the California Highway Patrol. The November 12 accident occurred where Menifee Road and Highway 74 intersect.
The time was roughly 1:50 a.m.
According to reports, two vehicles rolled over in the collision. One person who had been trapped inside one of the vehicles died at the accident scene.
Two other victims suffered injuries that were characterized as moderate. One victim suffered injuries that were described as minor. Responders transported the victims to the hospital for treatment.
According to the Riverside County Coroner’s office, Sandoval, a 22 year old, had been a resident of Hemet.
No details have yet been reported on who was traveling in the two vehicles, or who was driving each vehicle. No details have yet been reported on the types of vehicles involved, the kinds of injuries suffered by the victims, and what led to the crash.
